  • Condition: Good used condition as pictured with light to moderate age/use wear as pictured in the way of small scratches and scuffs. There is some crazing to some areas of the bow finish but I cannot say if this will affect the shooting performance of it as I am no expert. I see no major damage of any sort in the way of cracks or delamination. See pictures for best item condition and specific markings.

    This is a genuine 1969 Bear Archery Company Grizzly Recurve Bow #9R23802 AMO-56 48#.
    I am not a specialist in Archery or bows so I am going to include all info I know about this bow from basic measurements I took and research I did on it.
    I measured the bow from tip to tip and it measures 52 inches long without the string in place. I do not have a string for it. I did some research by calling Bear Archery and they told me this bow was made in 1969 and that the riser wood is Shedua. They also said it was a 56 inch length that carries a 52 inch string. The Bear coin button is made of brass.
    This bow is looks to be in good overall condition with no major issues. It does have some scratches and age/use wear as pictured. I noticed some light crazing of the finish in spots that I wanted to mention. I don't see any flaking so I don't believe this will affect the way it shoots. But, this bow may be better suited to be a display piece due to its age. If it is used it will need a new arrow rest pad and a new string.
    The color of this bow is a beautiful medium dark brown on the sides with dark green front and back faces as pictured.
